## **Community Governance: Take charge of key decision-making and help shape SidusPad.**

SidusPad was born with an overarching goal to bring the most interesting projects, with great potential, to the IDO. With a strong emphasis of empowering our community, we encourage you to hand-pick projects for the IDO, making this selection process both transparent and fair.

Any projects seeking to conduct an IDO on SidusPad are vetted and must pass our preliminary checks and analysis. If the project is successful in stage 1, they are presented for the second stage of selection — the DAO Vote conducted by the community.

Projects conducting private rounds on the SidusPad platform do not participate in DAO voting.

Community members will be able to vote for a project over the course of 24 hours using their Senate tokens. In order to make an informed decision, the community will have the opportunity to study the project, read our analysis and make their choice.

If the project is approved by a majority vote, it moves to the third stage, which is the IDO itself.

{% hint style="info" %}
Please note that in order to participate in the vote, you must have **a minimum of 100 Senate tokens** in your Metamask wallet (ERC-20 Network) prior to casting your vote.

You can purchase the tokens here:

🔒 **Snapshot Block Number:** *Your voting power will be based on the latest block synced from the node at the moment the proposal is created. Tokens acquired after the proposal‘s creation won't count towards your voting power. You will be able to change your vote while the voting period is ongoing.*
